EDUCATION:
1964 – graduate of the “N. Grigorescu” Fine Arts Institute, Bucharest
1968 – RAA member and university professor at the Fine Arts Academy in Bucharest, mural art department
EXHIBITIONS:
Startomg from 1965 he has participated in both Romanian & Foreign exhibitions: Germany, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Austria, Brasil, China, Venezuela, Egypt, Portugal, Netherlands, Australia, USA
AWARDS & SCHOLARSHIP:
1964 – “Ion Andreescu” scholarship
1966-1968 – “F. Storck” scholarship
1966 – a scholarship to Perugia, Italy
1968 – RAA’s award
1978 – 2rd prize at the “Voronetiana” Festival
1980 – the International Award “Giovana Europa”, Rome, Italy
1981 – the “Iosif Iser” award granted by the “Academia di Romania”, Rome, Italy
- the award for “Homage to Picasso” by the Cultural Centre Caravaggio, Italy
1988 – the Great Prize “Voronet” at the “Voronetiana” Festival
1999 – the award for religious painting by the RAA
MURAL ART WORKS:
1963 – decorative panels at the Firemen’s Museum, Bucharest
1968-1970 – the church “The Descent of the Holly Spirit”, Valea Lupului, Iasi
1972 – the icons of the “St. Nicholas” church, Sacele, Sibiu
